Who is responsible for your data

The text of your questions and journal never goes into usage statistics. Service logs of the readers' work are stored without text — only numbers and codes.
We never see payment details: payments go through Apple, and your card details never reach us. We don't collect advertising identifiers and don't ask for tracking permission. Morning reminders are local notifications on your phone, not sent from our server.
The texts are written by AI
Interpretations, birth chart readings, the daily paper, your sky for any day, and the words of Korney, Yorick, Sana and Mira are written by artificial intelligence — language models from text-processing providers. Korney, Yorick, Sana and Mira are characters, not real people.
To make an answer about you, the model receives only what that answer needs: your question, the cards drawn, relevant journal entries and memory, birth chart facts, your name and form of address. Models never receive your email address.
We don't train models on your data, and we work with providers who are contractually barred from using the data we send them to train their own models. [LAWYER: check against current provider agreements]
The AI makes no decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you — it only writes text for reflection.
Voice
Voice input. A voice note for your journal or a conversation goes to a speech-recognition provider and is turned into text. We don't keep the audio file — only the resulting text is stored. If server-side recognition is unavailable, your phone recognizes the speech itself.
Listening to answers. When you listen to an answer, its text goes to a speech-synthesis provider. The resulting audio may be cached on the server, not linked to your account, so the same text isn't synthesized twice — [TO FILL: voice cache retention period].

Providers work under contract and may not use your data for their own purposes. We'll send the list of providers by name on written request to support@tarotviva.com.
We don't sell data or share it for advertising. We may disclose data only where the law requires it, and only to the extent necessary.
Transfers outside the EU
Our server and database are in the EU, in Finland. Some providers — text processing, speech synthesis and speech recognition — are in the United States, so when you use these features, the data they need is transferred there.
These transfers rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or equivalent safeguards under the GDPR. You can request a copy of the safeguards by email. [LAWYER: confirm the transfer basis for each provider and for operator access from Armenia]
Links to birth charts
You can share a chart from the app as a link. Anyone who has the link can see the whole chart — the name, date, time and place of birth, and the reading. Send it only to people you trust.
By creating or sharing someone else's chart in the app, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that they don't object.
Chart pages are hidden from search engines. A link works until it's closed. You can close it by emailing support@tarotviva.com — we'll do it within 24 hours. Deleting the chart or your account closes the link immediately. A preview a messenger has already shown in a chat is stored by the messenger itself.

This website
tarotviva.com sets no advertising or analytics cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or counters — which is why there's no cookie banner here. The site may remember your language choice in your browser; that's only needed for the site to work.
Like any server, ours sees the IP address of each request. We use it only to protect against overload and abuse, and we don't link it to any account. Technical server logs are kept for [TO FILL: server log retention period].
How long we keep data
- Your account and everything in it — until you delete it.
- A sign-in code is valid for 10 minutes.
- When you delete your account, the data is erased from the live server immediately. Backups are encrypted, made every 6 hours and overwritten on a rolling basis, so your data disappears from them on its own within 15 days.
- Anonymous technical cost counters remain, with no link to you.
- Voice cache and server logs — see “Voice” and “This website” above.
Legal bases
- Contract — so your account, readings, journal, birth charts and purchases work.
- Consent — voice input, chart links, and journal entries that mention health, beliefs or relationships (what you write is up to you). You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interest — usage statistics, abuse prevention, backups.
- Legal obligation — keeping purchase records where tax law requires it.

Your rights
At any time, you can:
- find out what data we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct inaccurate data — much of it right in the app;
- delete your account and all your data — in the app (Cabinet → Settings → Delete account) or by email;
- restrict or object to processing — for example, to usage statistics;
- withdraw your consent — this doesn't affect anything done lawfully before;
- receive your data in a machine-readable format to take it elsewhere;
- complain to the data protection authority in your country.
For any of this, just email support@tarotviva.com from your account address. We reply within 30 days, usually sooner. Step-by-step account deletion is in Support.
Age
The service is for adults: you must be 18 or older to use it. We don't knowingly collect children's data; if we learn an account belongs to a child, we'll delete it.

Interpretations, chart readings and your sky for any day are material for reflection, not predictions of the future. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. We'll give advance notice of significant changes.
